History of the Company

1968
Our founding: Established as Identification Products, we were originally a nameplate company based in Long Island, New York.
1977
Relocation: Moved to Bridgeport, Connecticut.
1982
First UL Recognition: We received our first UL recognition for label constructions.
1983
Roll Label Operation Begins: With the purchase of a roll label press, we expanded our capabilities.
1995
The Expansion Continues: We moved our Roll Label Operation to a larger facility, and purchased our first Mark Andy 2200 Flexographic label press.
1999
New Capability: Laser Cutting brings our ability to offer precision and speed at the next level.
2000
New Capability: CNC Routing enabled us to offer precision machined panels.
2001
New Capability: Digital Printing presses meet new market needs.
2012
3M Preferred Converter Status: iD Products became a 3M Preferred Converter.
2013
Enhancing our Efficiencies: iD Products adopts world-class LEAN manufacturing practices
2014
Another Expansion: Our Roll Label Operation moves to an even larger facility in Bridgeport.
2015
Print-on-Demand Solutions: iD Products became an EPSON Value Added Reseller for its ColorWorks printers.
2016
Certification: iD Products earns its first ISO 9001 certification.
2022
Facilities Merger: iD Products moves to a 40,000 square-foot facility in Shelton, Connecticut.
